ORANGELLES is a special and rare Chardonnay-based orange wine. It is only produced in outstanding vintages - most recently in 2014 - with a quantity of 1 barrique(!) - a true BRUTAL!!! wine. With a skin maceration of 6 weeks and 18 months ageing in an old Burgundy oak barrel, the wine gets its distinct dark orange/amber color. Without any added sulphites nor any additives, ORANGELLES offers a ripe apricot bouquet with balanced acidity. Best served slightly chilled and decanted, it pairs perfectly with grilled seafood, roasted chicken, and aged cheese.
